Alright kiddos! So I went to the Parliament House here in Orlando FL for the SASHAY event (RuPaul’s Drag Race girls invasion) last night. I came wearing a tshirt design I did for my local fave drag queen Ms Darcel Stevens and brought a tee for her as well (she wants to end up using my design for her official Ms Darcel tshirts).
I was granted access backstage to the dressing room where she was getting ready and lo and behold I was smack dab in a Drag Race Soup!!!! Jiggly was changing right in front of me. Latrice Royale was sitting right in front of me. Ongina and Sonique were in the back laughing and looking right at me. This video was taken by Ms Darcel for her Tales From the Dressing Room series. I look like a damn mess (was in giggly, weak-kneed fanboy mode) but got to speak to Latrice and tell her how much she means to me and the art that I have done of her on here (thanks to everyone that has made her pic over 2,100 reblogs and likes) and it was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Ongina also wants a shirt done and it was such a thrill to hear how everyone loved my work because I love all THEIR WORK.

As much as I was Team Sharon Needles for the win in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4, I was spiritually linked to Miss Latrice Muthaf@&$in’ Royale.
Every word or phrase that came out of her mouth was gold and I truly was inspired by her bon mots of encouragement. This piece was inspired by my favorite saying of hers. I will play this over and over and over again on repeat. I giggle uncontrollably and I get teared up hearing her delivery during the RPDRs04 Reunion Special.
A truly unique human being.
