Charley Brewster, unfortunate neighbor to a vampire.
The art homages to Fright Night (1985) continue with this illustration of Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) going batshit crazy trying to arm himself for a vampire attack from neighbor Jerry Dandridge.
Traditional media meets digital: Prismacolor marker on Bristol vellum with colored pencil, scanned into Photoshop and touched up via Wacom.

The one and ONLY Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall) from 1985’s Fright Night.
Accept no substitutes people. I’ve seen the new Fright Night and that Dr Who dude is no Roddy McDowall.

After many months of being inspired by other artists and designers like Phantom City Creative and Justin Erickson, I decided to take a stab at making movie posters.
Here’s my first entry for one of my fave films: the original Child’s Play.
Done straight in Photoshop, this is a departure from my usual style but I think it fits the poster well.
