Chad Michaels is an amazing queen. I read today on Facebook that a local club/bar here in Orlando (their business partners to be specific) screwed Ms. Michaels over on her pay and arrangements while here performing. SHAAAADY!!!!

I am hoping all was ironed out because Chad Michaels deserves NOTHING but the best. She is TOP NOTCH and the epitimy of CLASS.

Also am hearing whispers she is going to be in the Drag Race All Stars this October.

Playing in Photoshop tonight and made a really cool warm color gradient.

Tried a random sketch of Batman over it. Nah.

Tried to do a rendering of Bea Arthur over it. Sorry, no Bea.

Then I ran across a cool shot from the first Alien film and decided to do a quick study of that as reference.

I rarely see these warm colors used in art or imagery from the first film (was very sickly yellow, cool dark contrast colors in the first).

So there ya have it: Some loose gestural linework and an up close image o’ Siggy looking spun outta control from Ridley Scott’s ALIEN!

As much as I was Team Sharon Needles for the win in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4, I was spiritually linked to Miss Latrice Muthaf@&$in’ Royale.

Every word or phrase that came out of her mouth was gold and I truly was inspired by her bon mots of encouragement. This piece was inspired by my favorite saying of hers. I will play this over and over and over again on repeat. I giggle uncontrollably and I get teared up hearing her delivery during the RPDRs04 Reunion Special.

A truly unique human being.

I can’t buy Paul Rudd as a comedian. I’m sorry. I don’t find him particularly funny at all.

There I said it.

Having said that, I like him as an actor alot and he’s got charisma for MILES!

He’s also a stunning looking guy.

So, with that preface, I present a sketch of the actor via Wacom in Photoshop.

Wanted to play with color here. I’m noticing that I tend to fall back into blah colors in some of my recent work. Trying to stay bold if at all possible.
